More Information:

Professor Carroll is a materials physicist by training. His research focuses primarily on the properties of quantum matrix composites.  These are correlated arrays of nano dots or nano wires in an electro-active host media that express unique and cooperative, quantum signatures related to internal degrees of freedom and length scales.
